The invention relates to television technology and can be used in color picture tubes that use a shadow mask. Known shadow masks for color kinescopes containing a plurality of apertures. Converging electron beams are projected through a multi-path shadow mask onto a mosaic screen. The paths of the rays are such that each of them excites only one type of color-emitting phosphor on the screen. The shadow mask is attached to a rigid frame, which, in turn, is attached to a kinesk balloon. Known masks are made almost flat or in the shape of the screen. . However, such a mask has an insufficient self-retaining strength or rigidity. One of the ways to ensure such strength or stiffness is to place a can under mechanical stress. Mechanical stress methods are associated with undesirable high costs for frames. Closest to the invention is a shadow mask containing a plurality of apertures and executed with corrugations parallel to one of the sides of the mask C2.
